文艺复兴时期 （the renaissance period）
时间：the 14th –mid-17th centuries (从意大利蔓延到整个欧洲 ）

文艺复兴时期的主要作家：
1.埃德蒙.斯宾塞 （edmund spenser）’the poets’ poet’
作品：the shepheardes calender 《牧人月历》
the faerie queene 《仙后》(十四行诗格律形式：每节9行，前8行都是每行10个音节，第9行为12个音节，按ababbcbcc押韵，被称作“斯宾塞诗节（the spenserian stanza) ）”。
斯宾塞诗歌有五大特点?(the five main qualities of spenser’s poetry)：
1、完美的韵律 （ a perfect melody）
2、罕见的美感 (a rare sense of beauty)
3、奇妙的想象 (a splendid imagination)
